Coberco Milk Factory, Arnhem
Close to the John Frost bridge in Arnhem is a beautiful industrial heritage: the former Coberco factory. The precursor of Coberco was founded in 1921. At the Battle of Arnhem in 1944 fierce fighting took place around the John Frost Bridge. The milk factory was badly damaged. The reconstruction of the factory started in 1948. From the 1980s, an efficiency boost took place and the production of cheese and milk was further concentrated. At the end of the 90s, Coberco was incorporated into the Friesland Foods Friesche Vlag group. The factory finally closed its doors in 2003.
I had some fun with my camera in the old factory. Photos taken with my Fujifilm X-H1, the XF 8-16mm superzoom and the wonderful XF 56mm
