The 'Dead - Tree - Landscape'
Fantastic weekend in the 'Hoge Venen' in the Ardennes. Photo taken at Le Noir Flohay, an hour's walk from Baraque Michel. Le Noir Flohay is an area where a large part of the pine trees were burned in 2011 due to drought. It has resulted in a beautiful area where, partly due to the combination with the snow and fog, there is a desolate but also serene atmosphere. The skeletons of the trees sometimes have very beautiful shapes. I kept taking pictures!
